Montgomery From Full Tilt Poker Became The Fourth Canadian to Win A 2010 Bracelet

August 4th, 2010 at 5:54

The 28-year-old Full Tilt professional poker player Scott Montgomery is from Ottawa, Ontario. Montgomery is the fourth Canadian player this year to win a gold bracelet. “I’ve had almost 10 final tables, and I have never had anything in the top three,” said Montgomery. “I keep getting fifth and whatever, Full Tilt Referral Code. I started to think I wasn’t that good at final tables. It’s good to finally get here.”

Montgomery became the fourth Canadian to succeed a bracelet in 2010 following Aadam Daya, Miguel Proulx and Pascal Lefrancois. With the win, he progressed into the top-25 of all-time WSOP earnings, moving Dan Harrington to 26th. The final table did not include former WSOP bracelet winners, but did incorporate a rodeo clown, Adam Richardson, who would finish third. Mick Carlson, a 23-year-old student, banked in a live Full Tilt Poker Net tournament for the first time and concluded second. He cashed $297,996.

Other distinguished finishers from Event 36 include Daniel Fuhs (fourth), Peter Traply (14th) and Svetlana Gromenkova (33rd).
